Me

What moves me ?

My ‘inner fire’ is all about exploring our human potential and how to utilise and expand it in order to create a better future - as individuals, as a group and ultimately as society as a whole. Whether I serve as executive coach, leadership guide or as a culture transformer, I primarily see myself as a scholar of life. My eagerness to explore and experiment has led me on many adventures and allowed me to discover pathways and possibilities I never imagined existed. The focal point of my quest is the intangible (but very real and impactful) aspects of our human being - more so than the human doing. I am fascinated by the delicate but powerful construct of our human inter-connectedness, in the same way I’m fascinated about the natural world in all its immaculate wholeness.

All in on all levels

My style of working with people is not a taught style, but a natural evolvement of twenty five years of working and co-creating with some of the most diverse and wise mentors, colleagues and clients. And by exposing myself to a wide range of outer and inner experiences. As an enabler of authentic personal growth, I have learned to embrace working on all four levels of our human existence - mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I let myself being guided in the moment to see what aspect needs attention when, allowing you to reconnect with who you truly are on all of these levels and by doing so find access to your inner wisdom. If I decide to work with you, I’m all in and I expect the same from you.

Unlearning is the key

Real leadership is about originality, working from your own origin, something you own and can only discover and develop by trial and error, by doing things your way. It sounds pretty simple and ultimately it is, but we have become so conditioned and programmed in our society that it proves to be a real challenge. I consider it my primary role to help you to set yourself free, to decondition and unlearn the attributes that keep you in the controlled and restricted version of yourself - to get you out of the part of your mind space where your ego is nurtured, holding on to all kinds of constraining beliefs.

Brutally honest with full compassion

To set free the dormant powers of the community you serve, you (and your team) have to be freed yourself first! As a guide this requires me to be brutally honest with full compassion, with a total commitment to holding the space. Not just in a 1-to-1, but also in a team setting I confront (and affirm) in real-time, allowing you to feel in the moment how your behaviour (your doing) and your being impacts others. In essence I am role-modelling what I believe leadership is about - it’s all about your awareness and what you do with that awareness in the moment. Once you master confronting issues and people without judgment, from a place of truthfulness and authenticity, the process of unfolding can take place - way beyond your wildest imagination. By setting yourself free, you allow others to do the same, creating an unstoppable ripple effect.

Finding wisdom in nature

In the deepening of my connection with nature I keep finding vital clues about our human potential. Nature holds so much wisdom and it’s for free! It just takes awareness and attention to unlock it. The wisest of leaders I have encountered on my path were all deeply connected with nature. That’s why I enjoy taking leaders into the wilderness for a deep source connection. It’s incredibly rewarding to see transformative change within (established and emerging) leaders who participated in the wilderness journeys I have been facilitating over the past 15 years. These journeys have become a vital part of my personal mission to help shift current and future leaders and into the truthful warriors the world is calling for.
